Easter, Speaker Announcements, Industry/Community Updates and Podcasts Were Meant To Be Found
Greetings PM Family,
If you celebrate Easter or Passover, we hope that you and your family are planning something special this weekend. We have something special planned for this newsletter, as we plan to share some “Easter Eggs” including M19 speaker announcements, PM19 price increases, Industry/Community updates and close out with a short discussion on what podcasts and Easter eggs have in common.
We hope you have your Easter dresses, Bonnets or Suits on, as well as your basket ready, for the actual prize that is the weekly Podcast Movement newsletter.
The Easter Bunny: PM19 Speaker Selections
We understand that some community members have started to feel that PM19 speaker announcements are a lot like the Easter Bunny. It is a nice thought, but feels like plain fiction. We disagree! We are here to not only prove you wrong but to share some speakers with you finally!
Below are the first 50+ speakers and panelists announced, including podcasters and industry leaders from NPR, WNYC, Barstool Sports, Ad Results, Stitcher/Midroll, Slate, Pacific Content, Blubrry, Libsyn, Podbean…plus dozens of other amazing podcasters and podcasting companies! We cannot wait to learn from them this summer!
We have hundreds of additional speakers to announce in the coming weeks, and cannot wait to continue to share more!

Podcasts (like Easter Eggs) Were Made to Be Found
My friend Allen was cutting grass on his riding lawn mower early summer in his yard. He was riding alongside a tree, and then he saw something out of the corner of his eye.
Sure enough, he hopped off from the lawn mower, inspected one of the tree limbs closer and sitting on one of the lower branches was a plastic Easter egg. The egg had gone unnoticed during the Easter egg hunt for his nieces and nephews several weeks before.
I am sure that many of us can relate to this story. Easter eggs hidden for an Easter Egg Hunt are meant to be found. Podcasts are a lot like Easter Eggs. Podcasts aren't created to sit dormant, hidden and never discovered. Podcasts, like Easter eggs, are made to be heard and enjoyed.
It can be a sad feeling to have a podcast that does not seem to be found or discovered. Our team and community deeply desire to help you with this problem. Here is a list of excellent articles and resources that provide some of the best advice available to help you with this dilemma.
We hope that your podcast will not be tucked away undiscovered, but that it will be found by many to enjoy. We are confident that we have left out many great resources, but we welcome you to share some tools or your top strategies in the Podcast Movement Community! Please let us know what is working for you.
What do you call ten rabbits marching backward? A receding hare-line.
