It’s graduation season! Congratulations to members of the PM17 family who have or a family member that has recently graduated! And while we could not be there in person for all the ceremonies, consider this week’s newsletter a graduation gift to you and yours!
This week we are proud to announce new speakers, a few classic/new session types coming to PM, and more!
Entrepreneur Podcasters “Table for Three”
In a first-of-its-kind session at Podcast Movement, we debut the “Table for Three” format. Three podcasters with something in common share stories, lessons, what is working, what pitfalls to avoid, and a whole lot more in a “fireside chat” style session.
The first one of these we’re excited to feature is one for the business and entrepreneurial podcasters. Join John Lee Dumas, Amy Porterfield and Pat Flynn as they talk all things podcasting, as it relates to their online businesses!
Podcast Movement-Mania Runs Wild in 2017
Bruce Prichard and Conrad Thompson host the hit Something to Wrestle podcast on Court Bauer’s MLW podcast network. What is so special about them? Conrad and Bruce have turned a glorified hobby into an undeniable powerhouse in the sports podcasting genre. The framework of each episode, audience call to actions, ad-reads and polls for future episodes are unique, and something that podcasters from every niche can learn from this summer!
Whether you’re looking to learn from business podcasters, wrestling podcasters or anywhere in between, we’ve got it at Podcast Movement!
New & Unique Session Types
We are bringing the “back by popular demand” solutions stages, as well as introducing newly “requested” session types this summer in Anaheim!
The “demo stage”. This is not a standard session with a slide deck and speaker, it is an actual demonstration of the “how-to-do-it”! These speakers will send you home knowing not only what to do, but how to do it!
You asked for a place to ask questions, and receive answers, that cut through the fluff and get straight to the point. The Q&A stage is intended for just that. Bring your questions, because our experts have answers.
The sessions will give attendees the opportunity to come together in a small group of fellow podcasters, for double-length sessions, to help each other find solutions to ongoing problems, answer questions, get additional opinions on decisions regarding your podcast, and build accountability beyond the conference.
The sessions will provide time for each member of the small group to take a turn in the “hot seat”.
Please note: The Mastermind Sessions have limited seating and will be first come/first serve for each session.
Ignite Speaker Submission Deadline!
We recently announced the Ignite event that will take place the day before Podcast Movement on Tuesday evening, August 22. The Speaker Submission Deadline for Ignite is June 9! Please do not hesitate to get your speaker submission in this week. Learn more HERE.
PM17 Meetup for Toronto/Buffalo Podcasters
With #PM17 only 2-months away, we are encouraging get togethers and geek-outs on all things podcasting while getting to know fellow podcasters in your area. One such meetup is happening around the Toronto, Ontario and Buffalo, NY region!
You are invited to join the party at Mustang’s Big Ol’ Grill, located conveniently off the QEW mid-way between Toronto and Buffalo. Please RSVP so we can let Mustangs know how many podcasters will be at the meetup. Special thanks to Nicole Holland for organizing this meetup! Learn more, and RSVP HERE!
Thank you for taking the time to read this newsletter every week. Thank you for being a supporter of Podcast Movement and podcasting in general!
We look forward to sharing news with you about the returning PRX stage, the Podcast Makeover Panel, and the all new Networking Roundtable track!
