This is a weekly newsletter for Podcast Movement event and community updates.
Braindate is an all-new initiative we're launching this year at PM23, and we couldn't be more excited. Braindate helps you tap into the experiences and expertise of your fellow attendees at Podcast Movement.
These are one-on-one or small group conversations based on topics posted by you and fellow attendees in the Braindate Topic Market. They can be used to brainstorm, solve challenges, and share expertise or experiences while meeting new (brilliant!) people.
Post your topic. Book some Braindates. Learn something new.
Watch this video to see how it works!
And as a very special bonus, one participating podcaster will be selected for the opportunity of a lifetime.
Thanks to our friends at OUTFRONT, one podcaster will win our grand prize of
having their podcast promoted in Time Square in New York City on September 30, International Podcast Day. This might be the coolest prize we've ever partnered on, and you're only one Braindate away from qualifying!
You know it's real when it's on your phone, am I right? Well if I am, then that means it's real! Check out the PM23 Mobile App on your favorite device, either from the App Store, the Google Play Store, or via Web App.
That also means that if you've signed up for PM23 as an attendee, speaker, or sponsor, you now have access to the Swapcard Event Platform. If you didn't get a welcome email, LOGIN HERE with the email address you used to register.
The Swapcard platform and mobile app will allow attendees to create custom schedules, network and book meetings with fellow attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and more.
This is also where on-demand virtual content will be watchable afterward.
Go ahead and access the mobile or desktop app, set up your profile, and check out what's to come with plenty of time before the event.
A special thank you to our mobile app sponsor, Paramount, for making this awesome platform possible!
Going, going… almost gone! Pro Pass tickets are almost sold out. There's still time to register or upgrade your ticket to the Pro Pass tier, which gives you access to:
The Pro Pass ticket is going fast! Reply to the email if you’d like to upgrade to the Pro Pass to get access to the pro pass lounge, speedy badge pickup, and more.
Podcast Movement attracts thousands of podcasters from around the world, so wouldn't it make sense if there was a way to record podcasts live from the event? Well lucky for you, thanks to our partners at YAP Media Podcast Network and GoBoxStudio, you can!
The Pavilion will be going live at PM23 all day Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and you can now reserve your spot before they fill up.
Last Call to post your own PM23 Meetup! One of the coolest things about PM is the opportunity to “find your people.” Whether it's podcasters of a similar genre, similar experience level, or something else that you have in common, meetups are a great way to connect with each other.
This year, anyone can host their own meetups during PM, and you can submit to be listed on the event website here!
If you're not yet signed up to join over 3,000 podcasters and professionals from around the world this summer, what are you waiting for? Grab your passes before prices GO UP TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT!
Podcast Movement 2023 features hundreds of educational sessions spread across carefully curated tracks, amazing expo halls to discover the latest podcasting tools and technologies, and of course the best networking events and parties in podcasting!
In addition to the action above, we've got some amazing new speakers to announce in this week's update.
Remember, some of these sessions are brand new, while others have already been announced, in which case these are the newest participants in those sessions.
Kai Chuk, Director, Head of YouTube Podcasting, returns to PM as a part of Podcast Discoverability: Breaking Through the Noise, which will also feature newly announced panelist Nick Witters, CEO & Talent Manager of Ballen Studios. Speaking of YouTube, YouTube Podcasting Unplugged: Your Questions Answered, will feature Steve McLendon, Product Lead of Podcasting at Google.

You'll be asked to submit a working title and description of your proposed session or panel, as well as information about yourself and your podcasting experience.
Keep in mind that last year we had over 600 submissions, and expect more this year. There are a limited number of spots to fill, so please consider submitting!
To wrap things up, we wanted to remind everyone of our Community and Event Codes of Conduct. As the online community continues to grow and evolve, and our next big in-person event gets closer, it's never a bad time to make sure that we are all respectful of one another.
With that said, we hope your week is going great, and we can't wait to be back in your inbox soon!
