Happy Friday, PM Family!
For those in grade school and university, the semester is almost over, which means it’s time for finals, grades, and report cards.
So why should podcasting be any different? It shouldn’t be, and we’ve got the report to share.
We’ve also got your final reminder to get those sessions in to speak at Podcast Movement in DC this August, plus some more fun things on the horizon.
Let’s get started, shall we?
A few weeks ago at Evolutions, we were treated to the annual presentation of the podcast industry’s report card, courtesy of James Cridland of Podnews. This report has become not only an entertaining annual presentation each spring at Evolutions, but also a valuable study into the current state of things for the industry.
If you missed it live, we think it’s an important session to either watch or read the recap.

We are now accepting applications to speak at this year’s Podcast Movement from August 19-22 in Washington, D.C., but the cutoff is tomorrow!
We’ve got an all-new format as it comes to tracks and stages, so make sure to read about it prior to submitting. Selection will be more competitive than ever, but we invite everyone to throw their name in the hat!
Once again, applications close tomorrow, so if you’d like to throw your hat in the ring, apply now!
Every summer since 2014, Podcast Movement has gathered thousands of passionate podcasters and industry professionals from around the world under one roof to learn, grow professionally, and most importantly evolve and improve the podcast community.
WE WANT YOU TO BE THERE!
If you’re not in the Podcast Movement Facebook Group, you’re missing out. Join over 80,000 members who get help, give advice, and have a lot of fun.
Last month, Desiree Peeples asked what to do with a bad podcast interview, Richiee Beauford wanted ideas on how to get his video podcast “unstuck”, and Dan Hastings asked everyone what their podcast guest pet peeves are.
Oh, and one member found a piece of fashion that many others agreed they needed!
Do you have any podcast, or podcaster adjacent, fashion in your closet? Drop it in the Facebook Group!
Don’t forget to get your PM24 sessions in by end of day tomorrow.
We’ll see you next week!
Grateful,
Team Podcast Movement
