This is a weekly newsletter for Podcast Movement event and community updates.
Welcome back, and let us be the last ones to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day… it was yesterday after all!
And for your belated gift, a reminder that Evolutions is just 3 weeks away!
We've got a lot to cover between now and then, so let's get to it.
Evolutions is all about the bleeding edge of the industry, and our exhibitors and sponsors are there to make sure you stay “in the know”. Our partners represent not just where podcasting is at, but where podcasting is headed. And if they're at Evolutions, you'll want to meet them.
Check out the full list of companies who are paving the evolution and who you will meet next month in Vegas…with a few more yet to be announced!
Podcast Movement has long been known as the best place in the world to meet up with other podcasters and podcast industry professionals. This year at Evolutions 2023, we're taking it up a notch with our official Community Meetups.
What's a Community Meetup, you ask? Community Meetups are hosted by event attendees, have a focused topic or area of interest, and will show up on the official event schedule so that other attendees can join up.
These are informal and can take place in a hotel bar, restaurant, or even in one of our dedicated spaces inside the Evolutions Expo Hall.
Interested in learning more about hosting your own community meetup? Check it out below!

Two weeks ago, at the start of Black History Month, our friends at Urban One Inc. announced the launch of the new Urban One Podcast Network. This effort expanded the company's extensive audio entertainment options for BIPOC audiences, as well as for advertisers who want to connect with the Black community authentically and culturally.
We're excited to have Sierra Reed, Senior Director of Podcast Operations for the Urban One Podcast Network, leading a panel next month on The Art of Relationships for Black Creators.
We are now accepting applications to speak at this year’s Podcast Movement on August 21-24 in Denver, Colorado!
You will be asked to submit a working title and description of your proposed session or panel, as well as information about yourself and your podcasting experience.
Keep in mind that last year we had over 700 submissions, and expect more this year. Applications close on March 17, so get to brainstorming and apply now!
