Welcome back!
This week is an exciting one! We're proud to announce the first keynote for PM22 this August in Dallas, TX. We'll also be sharing some last-minute meetup reminders and an update on PM22 speakers.
DON'T FORGET: Prices are going up tonight at midnight. Be sure to register before then to attend PM22 at the lowest possible cost. See below for more!
Let's get started.
In 2015, Phoebe Judge first took the Podcast Movement stage to discuss the one-year-old podcast she hosted called Criminal. Since then, the show has become one of the most popular podcasts in the world, and has been featured in “Best of” lists in Time, The Atlantic, Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, USA Today, and Wired.
Seven years later, we're thrilled to welcome Phoebe back to Podcast Movement as a keynote speaker. She'll be joined by Nishat Kurwa, Executive Producer & VP of Audio at Vox Media Podcast Network, to discuss the evolution of Criminal, how it has evolved along with the industry, and what they see for its future and podcasting as a whole.
Each year, hundreds of podcasters and professionals worldwide submit to speak at Podcast Movement. For 2022, we received over 600 submissions. With so many outstanding sessions, the selection process was extremely competitive.
In our next weekly update (June 15), we'll announce the first round of speakers for Dallas. We're excited to start revealing new panels and talks from leading podcasters, networks, organizations, and industry professionals.
Be sure to keep an eye out for round one!
If you're not yet signed up to join over 3,000 podcasters and professionals from around the world this summer, what are you waiting for? Register before midnight for the best deal!
Podcast Movement 2022 features hundreds of educational sessions spread across carefully curated tracks, amazing expo halls to discover the latest podcasting tools and technologies, and of course the best networking events and parties in podcasting!
Podcast Movement has negotiated a special discounted rate at our host hotel (which is also where the event takes place), but the number of rooms available is limited.
Each year our rooms sell out, and attendees have to book off-site. Don't miss out on your chance to stay where all the action is at PM22!

We're using this space this week to shine a spotlight on the PodMov Daily newsletter. Our managing editor, Brennan Tapp, writes the content, designs the graphics, and picks the animal GIFs (a crowd favorite).
We appreciate all of the hard work and dedication she puts into the Daily. See below to get a fresh roundup of podcast news, tips, and resources in your inbox every weekday, free of charge.
