Greetings PM Family,

Podcast Movement is excited to follow up on our announcement last week regarding Podcast Movement University and the free SHIFT kickoff virtual event on July 14 (This Tuesday!). Read on to learn about SHIFT speakers and presentations. We'll also share some PM20 and community updates.

Speakers and Sessions

SHIFT is PM University's free kickoff virtual event. As long as you're in the University (also free), you're invited! 

• Renay Richardson of Broccoli Content & Noleca Radway of Domino Sound discuss Equality in Audio Production and how podcasters, both large and small, can improve representation in their shows.

• Noreen Alladina of Midroll / Stitcher will present their Pandemic Listening Stats and discuss what we can learn from changed listening behavior now, and in the future.

• Jamila Souffrant of Journey to Launch & Stephen Hart of Trailblazers.fm will discuss how to use your podcast's platform to promote causes you believe in and current events, even when it might not at first appear to relate to your podcast's normal topic.

• Gabriel Soto of Edison Research & Martina Castro of Adonde Media will present the Latino Podcast Listener Report, and discuss how podcasters can use this data to grow their podcast and expand their reach.

• Alia Tavakolian & Keith Reynolds of Spoke Media will host a fireside chat about how their production company has found ways to advocate and promote social goals, while still continuing to educate and entertain their audiences.

• Matt Marr – Emcee – Matt was our co-emcee at Evolutions this past February in Los Angeles. Matt has been a long time Podcast Movement community member and podcaster. His current podcast is 90 Day Gays. He & his co-host are in love with TLC's 90 Day Fiancé. If you're a fan wanting BFFs to dish on the drama-rama, look no further.

SHIFT 2020 is an online celebration of strength and perseverance, intending to help everyone involved with podcasting be the best they can be, even in the most troubling of times.
