Deconstructing the Interview Process – Alexis Parris

Many may put most or all of their energy just towards the actual interview, but it’s really the work behind the scenes that creates a successful interview, conducting the interview live is the easy part. You need to know what’s needed on the backend to produce a quality interview, so within this session I will teach: Best practices for scheduling interviews by sharing my personal invite system I use that gets me a Guaranteed ‘Yes,’ Strategies to create well prepared and unique questions for your guest, Necessary software for recording to produce great quality audio for your interview, How to make your interview visually appealing, Tips on creating a solid connection with you and your guest, and a follow up template to send to your guest once the interview is complete. Think of this session as the blueprint you can use to host and produce a rich and impactful interview because it will do just that.
