Podcast Movement 2025 is taking over the Gaylord Texan Resort, and trust us, this venue is more than just a convention center.
After a full day of sessions, networking, and learning, you’ll be able to relax like you're on vacation. Take a dip in the indoor pool, book some “you time” at the full-service spa, or explore the resort’s lush indoor atrium with shops, dining, and riverwalk-style views.
Feeling adventurous? If you’re arriving early or staying late, the Paradise Springs water park (open seasonally) offers waterslides, a lazy river, cabanas, and more. Whether you’re recharging between panels or winding down after a packed day, the Gaylord Texan is the perfect mix of productivity and play.
I mean, look at that lazy river…
If you’ve never been to a Podcast Movement event, here’s a few things you can add to your packing list, some specifically for PM Dallas*:
Headphones – For demos, edits, or listening on the go
Chargers & portable battery – Keep your gear powered all day
Reusable water bottle – Stay hydrated!
Hand sanitizer & wipes – Germs, ya know.
Mints or gum – You’ll be networking, after all
Notebook or iPad – Take notes, sketch ideas, or plan episodes!
Comfortable clothes + layers – Hotel AC can be unpredictable (AKA cold)
*Swimsuit – You know you’ll swim in that crazy lazy river
*Something cozy – For relaxing post-sessions or spa time
Extra room in your bag – You will collect swag… It’s inevitable
If you haven’t booked your hotel room, there’s still time! We’ve negotiated a special room price to ensure you can fully enjoy Podcast Movement at the lowest possible price.
Each year, we award scholarships to aspiring podcasters who are passionate about the medium but need a little help getting to Podcast Movement. This year, we’re thrilled to welcome nearly 50 new creators to the PM community in Dallas!
The Noise Gate, by Podcast Movement, was created by audio storyteller Doug Fraser. Each edition dives deep into the creative side of podcasting by highlighting voices, formats, and storytelling techniques that break the mold. Check out some of the most recent features below:
A Wicked Voice with a Wildly Good Podcast
Fraser spotlights the unique vocal performance and narrative power of a podcaster whose bold delivery and genre-defying format are earning major attention. This profile explores how character, voice, and confidence can create a magnetic audio experience.
This Podcast Won’t Give You Answers — Just Better Questions
Instead of chasing clean resolutions, this featured show leans into ambiguity, offering a rich listening experience for audiences who crave depth and nuance. Fraser breaks down how embracing uncertainty can lead to more honest storytelling.
A Family, a Microphone, and a Podcast That Stuck
What happens when a family turns the mic on themselves? Fraser explores the creative and personal growth behind a family-run podcast that has evolved into a heartfelt and lasting project — one that’s as much about connection as it is about content.
