Happy Thursday, PM Family!
We are just under one month away from the podcast event of the year, and we can’t wait for so many of you to join us in DC. If you’ve not yet bought your ticket, now’s the time to do it before prices go up again!
If you missed our big special edition earlier this week, we unveiled several new keynote speakers, including Ira Glass, Rachel Martin, and Tom Webster. And today we share even more amazing sessions and speakers who will be taking the stage next month at Podcast Movement.
Speaking of speakers and sessions, we’re excited to announce that our full schedule is now live, and we wrap up with some last call reminders.
Let’s go!
We’ve got a number of new panels and breakout sessions to announce, including a few new featured ones you won’t want to miss!
Dive into the world of “Building Podcast Franchises” with our expert panel featuring John Allen, better known as MrBallen, the ex-Navy SEAL whose true crime and mystery stories have captivated millions across video and podcast platforms. Joining him is Nick Witters, CEO of Ballen Studios, the driving force behind MrBallen's brand expansion, and Luke Lamana, creator of Wartime Stories. This panel will explore the art of transforming podcasts into multi-faceted franchises, discussing strategies for engaging fans beyond audio content, navigating consumer product licensing, and identifying the key elements that make a podcast brand expandable. They’ll be taking the stage Thursday, August 22.
Explore “The Art and Science of Building a Massive Audience” with podcasting powerhouses Tori Dunlap of Financial Feminist and Hala Taha of Young and Profiting / YAP Media. These trailblazers will reveal strategies for cultivating loyal, expansive audiences in today's skeptical media landscape. Learn how podcasts are becoming hubs of trust and community, fostering connections between creators, listeners, and advertisers. They’ll be taking the stage Wednesday, August 21.
In addition to these exciting sessions, we’ve got more amazing additions to the breakout and panel lineup!

Over the past several weeks, we've been sharing updates about some of the amazing speakers and sessions that will be available to all attendees of PM, but this week we're actually telling you when and where to see them!
As you'll see when you check it out, Podcast Movement can best be described as a “choose your own adventure” of an event. With multiple stages going live all day every day, there will be no shortage of options for you to learn everything it is you want to know, no matter what it is!
Every summer since 2014, Podcast Movement has gathered thousands of passionate podcasters and industry professionals from around the world under one roof to learn, grow professionally, and most importantly evolve and improve the podcast community.
WE WANT YOU TO BE THERE!
Podcast Movement attracts thousands of podcasters from around the world, so wouldn't it make sense if there was a way to record podcasts live from the event? Well lucky for you, thanks to our partners at YAP Media Podcast Network, you can!
The Pavilion will be going live at PM24 all day Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and you can now reserve your spot before they fill up.
Podcast Movement has always been the best place in the world each year to meet up with other podcasters and podcast industry professionals. This year at PM24, we're excited to once again host official Community Meetups.
What's a Community Meetup, you ask? Community Meetups are hosted by event attendees, have a focused topic or area of interest, and will show up on the official event schedule so that other attendees can join up.
This year, we'll have a dedicated meetup night (Wednesday Night) where we've got several spaces set aside for these meetups. Enjoy a casual atmosphere where you all can gather as formally or informally as you'd like!
Use THIS FORM to express interest in hosting your own meetup during Meetup Night!
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT FOR BRANDED OR SPONSORED MEETUPS. THESE EVENTS ARE INTENDED TO BE GATHERINGS OF FELLOW ATTENDEES AROUND A COMMON TOPIC OR IDEA. IF YOUR BRAND WOULD LIKE TO COORDINATE A NETWORKING EVENT, PLEASE CONTACT SALES@PODCASTMOVEMENT.COM
Podcast Movement is excited to partner with NPR & Gaylord National Resort to invite fifteen PM24 guests to a live private recording of Tiny Desk Concerts at the NPR Headquarters in Washington DC.
PM and Gaylord National invite all interested PM24 attendees who are staying at the Gaylord hotel to apply for one of these EXTREMELY LIMITED spots for this exclusive live recording of Tiny Desk Concerts, and a reception afterwards!
All qualifying applicants will be entered into a raffle and chosen at random for one of 15 spots. All chosen applicants will receive up to two passes to the recording, one for them and another for a “plus one”.
To qualify, you must be a registered passholder for PM24, and must be staying at the Gaylord hotel for the event, with a check in on or before August 19. If you've not yet booked your hotel, do it here.
We’re excited for Podcast Movement to take place this year at one of our favorite venues ever: Gaylord National in National Harbor. The hotel features an amazing atrium, fun restaurants and bars, plus unbeatable views of the harbor.
And National Harbor itself is one of the most walkable places to ever host Podcast Movement, with over 40 restaurants, shopping outlets, water activities, and more, just steps away from the hotel.
But don’t delay, our hotel rooms always sell out, and we’ve negotiated special rates. Book your room today.
What a week it’s been…let’s do it again next week, shall we?
Until then,
Team Podcast Movement
