New Talent Announced for Podcast Movement Evolutions at SXSW

They say everything is bigger in Texas and that goes for Podcast Movement, too!

New talent has officially joined the lineup for our Evolutions event during SXSW, bringing even more energy to what’s shaping up to be one of the most dynamic gatherings in podcasting, media, and creator culture.

Who You’ll See On Stage

You’ll experience Maya Hawke, singer-songwriter, musician, and actor, as a special guest during a live recording of the Broken Record podcast. The live podcast performance will blend storytelling, music, and conversation in a way only SXSW can deliver.

On Saturday, March 14, Companion Podcasts takes over the stage for a full evening of live performances and reflective storytelling, headlined by an intimate acoustic performance from multi-platinum artist Andy Grammer. It’s designed to cut through the SXSW chaos and create a rare moment of connection between creators and audiences.

These additions build on an already standout lineup featuring MrBallen (John Allen), Kensington Tallman, Allison Dunbar, and Shaan Sharma, alongside a full weekend of live podcast recordings, conversations, and unforgettable moments.

What You’ll Experience

From March 13–15, 2026, the Skybox in downtown Austin becomes a hub where creators, platforms, advertisers, and media leaders come together, right as audio collides with every other form of media.

Across the weekend, you’ll find:

• Live podcast recordings and performances

• Conversations shaping the future of creator-led media

• Networking across podcasting, media, and advertising

• A Friday evening cocktail hour from Red Seat Ventures featuring Audiochuck CEO Matt Starker on building and monetizing creator businesses beyond podcasting
