Podcast Movement is back for 2026, and is taking on the Big Apple this fall on September 17 and 18.

Over the course of the two days in NYC, we’ll have multiple tracks with sessions covering every discipline that matters to a working creator: craft, growth, monetization, production, distribution, video, community, and the business of running a show worth listening to. Plus live podcast recordings each evening that put you in the room while your favorite shows get made.

This is not an introduction to podcasting. It’s where people who take their work seriously come to make it matter more.

The Podcast Movement speaker selection process has been redesigned, and is built to be fair and transparent with the intention of elevating the most impactful discussions. You don't need a big show, a big following, or a long résumé. You need something worth saying and a clear sense of who benefits from hearing it.

Here's how it works:

Half the schedule is chosen by popular vote. Submit a session, share it with your community, and let the audience decide.

Half the schedule is chosen by a community selection committee using a published rubric that prioritizes diversity of voice, perspective, and background alongside quality of content.

We're building the most diverse speaker lineup in podcasting, on purpose. That means creators of color, creators from underserved communities, creators working in niches the other conferences usually overlook, and creators at every stage of their journey. Not as a gesture. As the whole point.
