It’s been a wild few weeks at Podcast Movement HQ, as we are already hard at work planning an amazing Evolutions in March, and PM24 in August!
This week, we’ll let you know how to take part in Evolutions, how to hang out with us next week, and a whole lot more.

The can’t-miss podcaster event of the spring is this March in Los Angeles, and we can’t wait to see so many of you there! But have you ever thought about taking the stage yourself?
If so, then you’re in luck! We are now accepting applications to speak at Evolutions 2024.
Evolutions is all about the changing landscape of the podcast and audio industry, and if you’ve got a fresh idea or perspective, then we want to hear from you!
Keep in mind that last year we had over 600 submissions and expect more this year. There are a limited number of spots to fill, but you never know if you don’t try! YOU HAVE UNTIL NOVEMBER 3!
The Podcast Movement team will be making our annual trip to FinCon next week, which means we’re hosting what is one of our biggest annual meetups as well!
We’re meeting in the courtyard at B Mac’s on St Louis St from 7 pm to 10 pm ET on Thursday, October 19. We look forward to hanging out, eating some great food (on us), and talking about our favorite thing: podcasting! Please make plans to join us if you are in the area!

Evolutions is March 26-29 in Los Angeles, and Podcast Movement 2024 is August 19-22 in Washington, D.C. Learn more about the differences here.
Both events feature hundreds of educational sessions across curated tracks, an innovative expo hall showcasing the latest tools and technologies, and of course the best networking and parties in podcasting.
What better way to celebrate our “industry holiday” than to share our message on one of media’s biggest stages? We celebrated International Podcast Day (September 30th) in a BIG way, by unveiling creative on a Times Square billboard, thanks to the help of our partners at OUTFRONT. Most podcasters are big fans of audio and podcasting themselves (duh), and one of our favorite places to celebrate that love of audio is the On Air series of events. In fact, we’ll be Hanging out next month in Los Angeles at their LA Annex!
Join them as they convene throughout the city, from KCRW in Santa Monica to dublab in University Park. Listen in on live tapings, wander through site-specific stories, and hear conversations from the cutting edge of sound.

PM Community member Shaun Michael Colón has been hard at work for the last several years on the podcast industry documentary, Age of Audio. In fact, they were just awarded the 2023 Austin Film Society “North Texas Pioneer Award” Film Grant! But they could still use your help!
