Greetings PM Family,
The PM21 team is thrilled to announce the first round of keynote speakers who will be kicking off each day this August 3-6 in Nashville. We also have additional speaker announcements for our panels and breakout sessions, and final reminders about our scholarship program and meetup tour next week!
Podcast Movement takes great pride in bringing the top minds of this industry together each year. We are fortunate to have some outstanding speakers lined up for Nashville, and are excited to share the first three with you today!
Kate Erickson – Entrepreneurs on Fire and Kate's Take:
Kate Erickson has been a leader in the podcast industry for almost ten years now. Since the very beginning, she has supported Podcast Movement and is one of the few speakers who has spoken on our stages every year since the beginning. We are honored to have her appear on the main stage this year for the first time ever. Kate's experience with Entrepreneurs on Fire and creating and maintaining systems for the business surrounding the show has been an inspiration to watch from the outside. She has generously shared her knowledge on what it takes to support and sustain a top podcast since the beginning of her journey in the industry. We couldn't be more proud of Kate and her accomplishments, and it's an honor to have Kate share her wisdom with the PM community from the keynote stage this year!
Tom Webster – Edison Research:
Edison has been researching podcasting for over 16 years and produces the industry's leading research reports, including The Infinite Dial (in partnership with Triton Digital) and the annual Podcast Consumer report. Tom Webster is Edison's Senior Vice President and has shared these insights from our keynote stage for the last five years. We are excited to continue this partnership, which is now considered a major presentation for the podcast industry every year.
Chris Colbert, CEO of DCP Entertainment; Paula Pant, host of Afford Anything; Joe Saul-Sehy, host of Stacking Benjamins; and Gaby Dunn, host of Bad with Money present Podcast Veterans Share War Stories & Tips for Success
In a universe with two million podcasts on Apple and Spotify, does a podcast newcomer stand a chance? How does a new show stand out, survive and thrive in a world dominated by big players with deep pockets? Moderated by 15-year veteran John Wordock, executive editor for podcasts at Cumulus Podcast Network, this panel will dispense helpful wisdom from industry veterans and legacy players.
Podcast Movement 2021 will be a place for new podcasters, veteran podcasters, industry professionals, and anyone interested in podcasting or the podcast industry. The World’s Largest Podcast Conference Returns(both in-person and virtually)!
Podcast Movement tickets are currently on sale!
We're hopeful that we can all get together again, at the end of next summer, as we've been doing almost every year since 2014…and we want you to be there at the lowest possible price.
This year, you'll have the option to attend in-person or virtually. And best of all, you can register your in-person ticket now and convert it to virtual attendance anytime leading up to the event in August.
And if the event cannot happen at all, everyone will be offered a full refund.
There's nothing to lose, and you've got the lowest registration cost possible to gain.
PM21 Scholarships – Podcast Movement started in 2014 as a place for aspiring and existing podcasters from all over to call their own. Through our scholarship program, dozens every year are able to join us without having to worry about the cost of registration.
We try to do for some, what we wish we could do for everyone. This year, our goal is to make the event accessible to as many as possible!
Podcast Movement is proud to be a conference that supports parents by providing child care services during the event. Since 2018, we've partnered with A Helping Hand to bring a safe, welcoming option for parents who wish to bring their children with them to Podcast Movement.
A Helping Hand will be providing onsite event childcare for Podcast Movement 2021 on August 3 – 6, 2021!
We are making this service available for a nominal daily fee, and you'll have the option to decide how many days you'll like to utilize it.
If you're interested in learning more or getting on the list, please REPLY TO THIS EMAIL and let us know (the registration portal is still being built out).
We are also looking for sponsors or partners interested in working with us to make this service available at NO COST to event attendees. If you or your company are interested in learning more, please let us know!
