Live Stage preview, new sessions and speakers, and more!

Don't forget to register for PM21

by midnight PT tonight, before prices go up!

Greetings PM Family,

We have a lot of great things to get to this week, but before we get started, we need to hold ourselves accountable for a mistake. On July 7, this weekly newsletter included an image promoting Podcast Movement parties and networking events that was insensitive and offensive, especially to Black podcast creators and listeners. As an organization that prioritizes inclusiveness, we’re focused on the impact and not the intent of our actions. Please read our full statement here, and thank you to Simplecast and the BIPOC Podcast Creators group for helping us all by starting the conversation.

This week, we share news about the Spreaker Live Stage, and how you can watch the sessions whether you're joining us this year or not. We also have reminders for events that you'll want to make sure to RSVP or register for in advance. Plus, the Podcast Pavilion, Podcast Makeover, and more.

And for those who have asked, the mobile app and virtual event platform go live next week, so watch your inbox for access information.

Spreaker Live Stage Preview

For the second PM in a row, we've partner with Spreaker to bring you the Live Stage. What's the Live Stage? It's a place where all week long we'll be streaming some awesome sessions around the world, so everyone can check out the awesome things taking place at Podcast Movement.

And if you're joining us live, you're in luck, because it all takes place on-stage inside Podcast Movement Central

There are three days of amazing sessions taking place on this stage, including two just announced:

Money Moves: Women and Ownership in Podcasting

Friday, August 6 at 12:30 pm CT

During this panel discussion presented by Spreaker, Host Ahyiana Angel sits down with women making money moves to find out how they do it. We're peeling back the layers to uncover what it takes to establish your value, create alliances, protect yourself from predatory practices, and so much more. Women are developing powerhouse networks, brokering deals, championing change, and tracking trends that advance our agenda.
