PM21 Price Increase Tonight and PM21 Conference Tracks Announced

Greetings PM Family,

Podcast Movement has something for everyone, whether you are just starting out, are a veteran in podcasting, or you are a professional in the field. This week we will be taking a look at all of the different conference tracks that will be featured as a part of Podcast Movement 2021, additional speakers and sessions for the events, and share some community updates!

PM21 Conference Tracks

At Podcast Movement, all educational sessions such as breakouts and panel discussions fall under one of six “main tracks” or one of three “bonus tracks.”

As you will see below, each track has a specific overarching theme, and you as an attendee can pick and choose sessions from the various tracks throughout the event to help accomplish your goals. And then each morning will kick off with keynote talks that are broad and meant to appeal to all who are in attendance.

In addition to each session being assigned a track, many also will be labeled on the schedule as being targeted towards New Podcasters, Hobbyist Podcasters, Professional Podcasters, and Industry Professionals.

With nearly 200 sessions across 10 different stages, this organization will help you make the most out of your time with us!

MAIN TRACKS

Creation Track – Presented by Buzzsprout
Whether you’re creating a show from scratch or looking for ways to improve, this track will teach you everything you need to know about the ins and outs of podcasting. There will be sessions for both beginners and professionals that will help you and your show, including the art of storytelling and how to conduct great interviews.

Industry Track – Presented by Coleman Insights
The Podcast Movement prides itself as the conference that gathers experts from the industry to present sessions in an environment unlike anywhere else. Past sessions of this track include an IAB panel on podcast advertising standards, multiple sessions on measurements, and large podcast sponsorships.

Marketing Track – Presented by AWeber
Creating great content is part of the battle, but the next big hurdle is making sure people hear what you’re putting out there! This track offers some of the tips and tricks that the world’s most successful podcasters use. Learn the latest techniques, from social media and email marketing to using new technology, to get your voice heard.

Monetization Track – Presented by AdsWizz
We know that many podcasters are looking for ways to profit from their art form in this industry. While it may not be easy, this track brings in experts to teach you the different ways you can do it. Learn about getting sponsors, crowdfunding your podcasts, and more with these sessions.

Society, Culture, and Advocacy Track
This track encourages speakers and attendees alike to address some of the most difficult and most important topics head-on. From discussions around diversity, racism, and harassment to bringing voice to underrepresented communities, we look forward to them happening at this year's conference.

Technical Track – Presented by Focusrite
Podcast Movement will be home to some of the best technical experts in podcasting. Whether you’re looking for ways to podcast from mobile devices, trying to figure out what plugs into where, or need a few handy tips on editing your content like a pro—you’ll find sessions on various topics throughout the week.

BONUS TRACKS

Audio Drama / Fiction Track – Presented by Dolby
One of the fastest-growing podcasting genres is the audio drama format, and we’re absolutely in love with it. If you’ve heard any of these shows, you know that they’re truly an art. We’re excited this year to feature a full track of audio drama-focused education, and it will be a great learning experience for podcasters from all genres!

Brand & Content Marketing Track – Presented by Futuri Media
Podcasts are becoming an important piece of content marketing for brands, but they are only as effective as the strategic approach taken in their production and release. Join us for this track that explores content creation for your brand and how to integrate it into an overall marketing plan best to maximize the effects for your business and so much more!

Spanish Language Podcasting Track
Spanish-speaking podcasts represent one of the fastest-growing areas of the podcast universe. We're excited, too, for the first time at PM21, to feature an entire day's worth of programming geared towards those who podcast in Spanish or who podcast primarily to a Spanish-speaking audience!

How To Use Your Podcast to Showcase Your Unique Expertise and Build Your Personal Brand with Mike Kim
Tuesday, June 15 at 1 pm ET

It’s no secret that more people than ever before are building thriving businesses around their podcasts. But why do some create six- or even seven-figure businesses while so many others strive to make a consistent income?

Mike Kim answers that question by sharing his proven 8-step blueprint that has helped build the brands for some of today’s most influential thought leaders — as well as his own personal brand and podcast, The Brand You Podcast.

Mike walks you through the process of creating a compelling personal brand to build your business around, how this weird world of marketing really works, and why the best strategy for success is telling the truth.

You're invited to Podcast Movement 2021 whether you attend in-person or virtually! We can't wait to spend four days with podcast friends old and new this August 3-6 in Nashville, TN.

Grateful,
Team Podcast Movement
